LSC Struggles to Recruit Important Players

Blurb: LSC has a hard time recruiting the players they need to turn their reputation around.

Due to LSC being a division three team they have insufficient funds LSC cannot give players' the scholarships they need to convince them to come and join the LSC teams.

In order to talk prospective students into attending LSC Chris Ummer LSC's athletic director (and recruiter) said he has to sell the scenery in order for people to want to come. "Ummer try’s to sell the area around the school. He sells the mountains and the plethora of outdoor activities to his prospective runners."

Ummer also likes to tell players that he is recruiting that "you will be a building block on this team. You can turn us around". Making the player feel like LSC really needs him and would greatly appreciate him.

Currently Ummer travels in about a 100 mile radius to find players. He said if LSC were a larger school he would be able to travel further. He said larger schools travel nation wide for their recruitment.
